The adidas F50 adizero TRX FG Messi is one of the lightest shoes on the market. With inspiration from Lionel Messi of Barcelona and the Argentina National team, this shoe clearly makes a statement with its speed and color way. Our customers review the upper, fit, outsole and the color of the shoe.
Take a look at what they thought!
The upper of the adidas F50 is unlike any other on the market. The shoe weighs a total of 5.3 ounces with the upper made specifically to excel in any condition at high speeds. Most of our reviews said the first thing they noticed was how light the shoe was stating, "very soft and light upper that feels like it would break in easily". The upper also has Dribbletex which allows for speed dribbling on the toe with a rubber finish to provide enhanced grip in all conditions. On the down side, the tongue of the shoe has been shifted to a more plastic tongue that all around got negative reviews. Customers thought the tongue was "too stiff" and "cut into the ankle" making the shoe not as comfortable as it could have been. Overall, despite the bad tongue the majority of our reviewers enjoyed the lightness and flexibility of the shoe.
Because the F50 is so light adidas does not put a lot into the shoe. There are thin liners that help keep the foot from sliding around while also maintaining the weight. There are additional liners that come with the boot. However, adding the liners will add more weight to the boot reducing its speed. Reviewers tried the boot on without the additional lining and overall had a pretty good review. Most claimed the fit to be "wider than Nike" and also " very comfortable and light." One of the negative reviews were that the heel was too wide and the toe box became too narrow in the front. We also had a few reviews dock points for the shoe feeling "unsupportive." With a super light shoe it is hard to add the extra comfort without compromising the overall lightness of the boot.
The F50 adizero is made with the same outsole technology as previous boots. The Speedtraxion allows for quick movements all over the field. The stud alignment allows for maximum acceleration and quicker turns in all conditions. The Sprint Frame allows the boot to move seamlessly, maintaining stability while in quick movements. Reviewers loved the outsole stating that it was "very stable" and "flexiable yet comfortable."
The scale is between one and five. One being the worst and five being the best. Reviewers were asked to rate each category according to this scale. Averages were then taken.
