Nike's Tiempo Legend V FG
The Tiempo Legend has always been known for being Nike's all leather boot. The kangaroo leather is what made this boot stand out from all of the others. However, with most other boots on the market being much lighter and nearly waterproof the Tiempo could not stand up to its competitors.
Nike has taken the new Tiempo Legend V to a whole other level by introducing it with Nike's Kanga-Lite instead of a full leather upper. The Kanga-Lite is paired with Nike's new technology called Hypershield. Hypershield is a 2-layer constructed mesh that works with the Kanga-Lite to reduce the weight and enhance the durability of the boot. The upper is still equipped with All Conditions Control (ACC) allowing the boot to be nearly waterproof. The new upper of the Tiempo Legend absorbs almost 2/3 less water that a typical Kangaroo leather boot.
Nike not only changed the upper but they also redesigned the insole and outsole of the boot. The new Tiempo comes with a newly engineered plate that has been designed to move with your foot for improved stability, traction and comfort. The poron insoles allow for improved comfort while not compromising weight. The outsole has similar direct-injected studs for a similar traction.
