Soccer 2000 Boot Review - Adidas Nitrocharge

Soccer 2000 Boot Review
Adidas Nitrocharge

The Adidas Nitrocharge was created for one purpose... to simply super charge your game.

The upper of the Nitrocharge is a super soft material that is a hybrid of leather and synthetic that keeps flexibility in and water out. The Energysling across the top of the shoe is designed for stability and control during games. The review of this boot revealed that most players thought the upper was "comfortable and flexible". Some, however, thought the "Energysling was too tight around the foot".

The fit of the shoe was pretty half and half as to whether customers liked or disliked the way it felt on their foot. The boot is lined with a synthetic leather for comfort and anti-slipping during games. According to one reviewer, "the fit was too tight for my bunions and was uncomfortable because of it". Another reviewed stated the opposite, "the fit was snug but not too tight where it became uncomfortable". With such divided responses on the fit, it is clear that this shoe appeals more to a slender foot without previous issues or problems. The Nitrocharge delivers a snug fit in order to prevent slippage during games and practices.

The outsole of the Nitrocharge is constructed with Adidas's new technology called Energypulse. Energypulse works to provide premium energy output during the toe-off phase of a sprint. Energypulse also helps you with your vertical jumps allowing you to reach new heights. The Nitrocharge is fitted with Adidas's Traxion 2.0 FG stud configuration allowing for maximum grip and acceleration on all natural firm-ground surfaces. Overall, most reviewers praised the stud configuration of the Nitrocharge stating that it "allows for better traction" and that "the studs seem strong and stable compared to others". The negatives that were stated by reviewers were "I wish the studs were rounded" and "I do not like how bulky the miCoach storage area is". The miCoach may look bulky but has not proved to inhibit play or traction.

The color of this boot was unlike any color we have seen on the Nitrocharge. It has a bright and eye catching color that encompasses everything that the Adidas Samba pack was suppose to. The color was greatly accepted by most. It was a fresh start to a shoe that never really stood out before.
